About Us
Dr. Shane Taffe graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minneapolis, MN with a Doctorate in Chiropractic and Bachelor’s Degree in Science in 2010. He completed a year long externship in Naples, FL where he had the opportunity to work in the busiest Chiropractic Health Center in SW Florida seeing nearly 1100 patient visits a week. He was then ready to open his first clinic in Olathe, KS with his wife Nicole in 2012. The Taffe’s welcomed their first son Jaxson that same year. Being closer to family was a priority and they made their move to Des Moines where they lived for 6 years and welcome 2 more boys Maverik and Lynkon. Dr. Shane worked in an Integrated Health Center in West Des Moines for 2 years where he developed his passion for a multifaceted, whole body approach to health care.
With his wife’s health taking a turn for the worse in 2017 he found the path to Functional Medicine which helped transform her condition. From pain to purpose, Dr. Taffe began helping patients with Chronic inflammatory conditions, Autoimmune diseases, Digestive disorders and more to regain their health. Dr. Shane had the opportunity to move back home to Algona in May 2018. His family welcomed another boy Karder in December 2018.Highlights
